What does analog input mean on my 15 inch LCD monitor?

When I turn my PC on, the monitor works for 5 seconds and turns black. It gives the message "1: Analog Input" and then turns off again. When I shut down the monitor power and turn it on again, it gives me the same message for 5 seconds and turns black again.
