What kind of driver does a 15.4″ Synaps LCD monitor use? Where can I get it?

I recently bought a Synaps 15.4" LCD monitor from Walmart.com. When I finally got the monitor, I hooked it up and it only uses the generic Plug and Play monitor driver--which won't allow me to select the correct resolution and refresh rate. I looked for more information about Synaps, but the company doesn't have a phone number or a Web site. Has anyone else had this problem--if so, how did you solve it? I figured if I could figure out who made this monitor, I could find a compatible driver and install it.
Can anyone help me?

Try the manufacturer’s web site and key in the model number or look on the site for “drivers”. Also, try to google the name and model number.
I don’t think there is a driver for it. Walmart sell these monitors cheap and everyone has problems with them. New machines with high res. video cards may have a better shot at the plug & play driver working, but a lot of people are complaining about these monitors. I couldn’t find the company on the internet or any information about the monitors anywhere. I’d take it back. If enough people pressure Walmart, maybe they will sell better products.
